Lilith is not simply a point that – as some believe – indicates a special superpower in the birth chart. Rather, it is part of an axis between the Lilith point and the precise integration point directly opposite it. We call this point HPU.
This axis shows where an essential part of your strength was rejected and shamed – often through indoctrination. It also shows how you began to suppress or hide this part of yourself through adaptation and functionality in order to avoid being judged for it again.

But: “I can allow my receptivity, my softness, and my fullness to return – and let my Yang side support and carry me without becoming hardened.”
Because hardness is weakness. Your clear, grounded softness is your strength!

Lilith in Leo in the first house connects identity, appearance, and personal presence with heart power, creativity, and the desire to live visibly from one's own center. The Leo energy can appear warm, courageous, and distinctive here. It is not the problem, but can become a safeguard when the opposing HPU energy has previously been wounded.
The HPU – healing point of your primal feminine power – is in Aquarius in the seventh house. At an inner level, there is originally the ability here to experience relationship as a free encounter between two independent, equal people. You may feel that closeness can exist without possessiveness, hierarchy, or constant personal validation. From this arises the concrete ability to openly explore unconventional relationship forms, combine friendship and love, allow the other person freedom, and shape decisions as equals.
If this essential power was wounded, equality may have become associated with interchangeability, freedom with non-commitment, or an unconventional relationship with rejection. Perhaps it was conveyed that only a clearly central role provides security.
This can give rise to the fear: “If the other person stands freely and equally beside me, I lose significance, influence, or my special place.” Lilith in Leo in the first house responds to this with an intelligent safeguard: becoming visible, leading, impressing, and strongly emphasizing one's own uniqueness.
This safeguard can bring forth charisma, courage, and leadership strength. If it is overused, competition, hurt feelings when resonance is lacking, or the desire to remain unmistakably the center or the most important reference person in relationships can arise.
Integration does not mean shining less. The Aquarius energy in the seventh house may participate again: You can appear with your whole light and at the same time encounter a free other person as an equal.
In astrological symbolism, Lilith represents those inner areas that do not simply conform to existing structures. She points to tensions between personal needs and adaptation, between inner experience and external expectations. In a birth chart, Lilith often highlights themes connected with deeply rooted emotional conditioning, unconscious reactions, and experiences that challenge our inner boundaries.
Regardless of the specific sign or house, Lilith describes a quality that cannot simply be controlled or standardized. Her influence becomes noticeable where familiar forms of security are called into question and previously hidden inner dynamics come to the surface. The focus is less on finding immediate solutions and more on developing a deeper understanding of the underlying tensions.

In your career, leadership emerges that also makes others visible. Shared achievement may have several creators without making your own contribution any smaller.
In partnerships, personal friendships, interests, and living spaces can exist. Admiration remains beautiful, but no longer becomes proof that the connection is secure.
Within family and friendships as well, you may appreciate other people in their independence without losing your own dignity.
Harmonized strength combines personal radiance with free relationship: Two independent people may form a genuine we.
The cycle begins with the HPU in Aquarius in the seventh house. At its core, it originally involves the experience of being allowed to feel meaningfully connected in a free and equal relationship.
If this experience was hurt, for example through competition, rigid ideas about relationships, or the experience that freedom was in fact connected with loss, the fear can form: “If I truly let the other person be free, I will become replaceable or unimportant.”
Lilith in Leo in the first house responds with an intelligent safeguard: strong presence, leadership, visible distinctiveness, and the desire for clear loyalty.
The side effect arises when this safeguard consistently anticipates. The other person's abilities, contacts, or successes more easily seem like competition, and differing perspectives become a question of personal authority.
The other person may respond with distance. This confirms the old fear: “Freedom moves the other person away from me; I must show my importance even more strongly.” Lilith then increases personal centrality.
Integration does not mean withdrawing your own presence. The HPU force may participate again: You can show yourself, clearly name your wishes, and still allow the other person a free response.
The roots of later Lilith protection may lie in families in which love and significance were strongly conveyed through status, attention, or special roles.
The freedom of an attachment figure may have been experienced as rejection, for example when their own friends, interests, or withdrawal provided little sense of security.
Rigid ideas about what a partnership should look like can also be formative. Unusual bonds or more personal freedom may have been judged as wrong or dangerous.
Comparisons with siblings, classmates, or partners may additionally have created the impression that only one person can truly be special or important.
This can give rise to the inner statement: “I must be clearly special so that equality does not make me disappear.” Lilith in Leo protects through visibility. Integration allows free encounters without hierarchy.
For everyday life, it is important not to diminish your personal radiance. Visibility, creativity, and leadership can be genuine strengths. What matters is whether they arise from joy or are meant to safeguard your importance against the freedom of others.
HPU in Aquarius in the seventh house begins inwardly with the experience: I may be meaningfully connected in a free, equal relationship. Only from this does the concrete ability follow to shape closeness without a claim to possession and to allow unusual, honest agreements.
In conflicts, the question can help: “Am I really defending my position right now—or my rank?”
You may allow the other person space for their own interests and contacts and observe which old fear this touches.
In this way, Lilith remains your power for presence and dignity of heart. The HPU power complements it with equality, so that a relationship does not have to be divided between center stage and shadow.
