Lilith is not simply a point that – as some believe – indicates a special superpower in the birth chart. Rather, it is part of an axis between the Lilith point and the precise integration point directly opposite it. We call this point HPU.
This axis shows where an essential part of your strength was rejected and shamed – often through indoctrination. It also shows how you began to suppress or hide this part of yourself through adaptation and functionality in order to avoid being judged for it again.
Lilith does not act alone. Together with its opposite point, it forms an axis. This axis consists of two parts:

Lilith shows you where you avoid something. The HPU shows you which strength you are invited to reintegrate. But the way in which you suppress, hide, or control this strength is revealed through your Chiron wound.

But: “I can allow my receptivity, my softness, and my fullness to return – and let my Yang side support and carry me without becoming hardened.”
Because hardness is weakness. Your clear, grounded softness is your strength!

With Lilith in Libra in the third house, relationship to the environment is perceived with particular sensitivity. In matters of thinking, language, learning, and the question of whether one’s own intellectual direction may exist despite differing perspectives, Libra seeks fairness, compatibility, and an approach in which no side is unnecessarily hurt or excluded. This ability remains valuable.
The HPU is in Aries in the ninth house. Before every concrete task, there is an inner essential strength: courage for one’s own conviction and intellectual direction. You can experience yourself as intellectually clear, determined, and capable of direction. Within yourself, you may know: You can draw your own conclusion from what you have learned and follow it, even if other people think differently.
Very practical abilities can develop from this: advocating a thesis, examining and choosing a worldview, taking intellectual risks, formulating a clear conclusion, and not keeping one’s own path of understanding endlessly open.
Earlier experiences may have conveyed that precisely this Aries strength endangers relationship or belonging. Clear convictions were treated as intolerant, arrogant, or ridiculous; a determined worldview could lead to conflict, exclusion, or intellectual devaluation. This may give rise to the fear: “If I clearly say what I believe and which direction I consider right, I will be seen as intolerant, ridiculous, or uneducated.”
The Lilith-Libra strength then takes on protection. You gather further perspectives, relativize early, and formulate things so balanced that hardly anyone has to feel excluded. Intellectual openness becomes a safeguard against rejection. It ensures that social friction is recognized early and softened as much as possible.
The difficulty begins only when it is overused. One’s own position can then be postponed again and again. Because others then find it difficult to recognize what you yourself stand for, there is less resonance with your actual conviction—and this in turn feeds the uncertainty of whether a clear position would be sustainable. The way back therefore does not lie in greater hardness, but in allowing immediate Aries strength to work alongside Libra again.
In astrological symbolism, Lilith represents those inner areas that do not simply conform to existing structures. She points to tensions between personal needs and adaptation, between inner experience and external expectations. In a birth chart, Lilith often highlights themes connected with deeply rooted emotional conditioning, unconscious reactions, and experiences that challenge our inner boundaries.

When the HPU in Aries in the ninth house becomes active again, the Libra power loses none of its subtlety. It simply no longer has to ensure on its own that relationship, recognition, or belonging remain secure.
The HPU aspect Courage in one’s own conviction and intellectual direction once again becomes an inner matter of course. The concrete forms of expression of this power may also become natural again. Concrete forms of expression include, for example: advocating a thesis, examining and choosing a worldview, taking intellectual risks, formulating a clear conclusion, and not keeping one’s own path of insight open indefinitely. You do not have to experience them as a social error.
In your profession, you can carefully take different perspectives into account and then make a clear recommendation.
When learning, an insight may temporarily become your own position instead of remaining just one more viewpoint among many.
In conversations, fairness does not mean having to advocate every conviction with equal strength.
Libra and Aries thus no longer become opposites, but rather two interdependent forces: relationship and direct self-movement.

Lilith responds to this with relationship competence. You gather additional perspectives, relativize early, and formulate things so balanced that hardly anyone has to feel excluded. Intellectual openness becomes a safeguard against rejection.
When this strategy cautiously controls every situation, the feedback loop follows. One’s own position can thereby be postponed again and again. Because others then find it difficult to recognize what you yourself stand for, there is less resonance with your actual conviction – and this again feeds the uncertainty about whether a clear position would be sustainable.
The old fear then seems confirmed, although part of the difficulty has only arisen from the constant safeguarding.
Integration begins with a very concrete examination: “Which position do I actually consider right after my assessment today – even if not everyone agrees?” Aries may act again before Libra has balanced everything for everyone.
For the later Lilith safeguarding, experiences in which the HPU in Aries in the ninth house became uncertain are especially significant. The decisive HPU aspect is courage in one's own conviction and intellectual direction. You can experience yourself as intellectually clear, determined, and capable of direction. Deep down, you may know: You can draw your own conclusion from what you have learned and follow it, even if other people think differently.
What is decisive is the recurring experience that a clear intellectual position could trigger rejection, conflict, or the accusation of lacking openness.
Lilith in Libra develops a particular strength from this: She recognizes early how people react and can balance tensions before they escalate. This ability remains valuable.
Integration allows new experiences in which the HPU aspect courage in one's own conviction and intellectual direction may exist without relationship or belonging automatically being lost.
Your social sensitivity may remain fully intact. For integration, it is only important to recognize when it is shaping a genuine relationship and when it is cautiously softening your own first impulse.
HPU in Aries in the ninth house reminds you of your courage to have your own conviction and intellectual direction. You can experience yourself as mentally clear, determined, and capable of setting a direction. Inwardly, you may know: You can draw your own conclusion from what you have learned and follow it, even if other people think differently.
For self-observation in this house, the following is especially helpful: “Which position do I actually consider right after today's examination – even if not everyone agrees?”
A concrete exercise: Consciously conclude a topic with one sentence: “Based on what I know today, I consider … to be right.” Let this position stand until new information actually calls for a change.
In this way, Libra remains connecting, while Aries provides the courage to bring something of your own into the connection in the first place. Your Libra strength and your Aries strength may exist at the same time.
